One of the things that makes INTRSCT unique is the way in which our programming is structured. In addition to serving the Youth of Chicago, our programs
provide invaluable ministry experience to the young adults who help run them. This is an intentional and vital part of INTRSCT's mission. We seek out and challenge
gifted young adults to serve in the City of Chicago for various lengths of time, whether it's one week in the spring, several weeks over the summer or the commitment
of an entire year or longer. Through the programs of INTRSCT, young adults are given the opportunity to change the lives of the underserved and to be changed through
their experience.
The Urban Dweller and March Mania programs were created specifically for the recruitment of college graduates and young adults to serve our at-risk youths.
The programs that these young adults run are the F.A.S.T. Camps, After School programs and Faith Events, each of which are designed to provide opportunities for the youths to reach
their full potential. |
